Trust Vision:
The primary aim of The Peacocke Dance Trust is to support and fund New Zealand dancers and choreographers to achieve and pursue their passion.
Mission Statement:
The Peacocke Dance Trust’s vision will be achieved by encouraging and funding New Zealand dancers and choreographers to strive for excellence, by setting ambitious goals to advance their art form and by sharing their passion and inspiring up-coming generations of performing artists in New Zealand.
Trusts Values:
The The Peacocke Dance Trust aims to inspire and develop New Zealand dancers and choreographers so that they can build confidence, develop their ambition and work hard to improve their skills and achieve their goals.
Trustees and employees will be innovative, bold and responsive in order to support New Zealand dancers and choreographers.
The Peacocke Dance Trust will be responsible stewards of the available resources. The Trust will be transparent, accountable and efficient in the use of funds and the deployment of human resources.
The Peacocke Dance Trustees recognise the importance of strong, creative partnerships with organisations and individuals willing to support this trust.
Strategy:
By working with local New Zealand dance communities and centres to promote awareness and a clear understanding of the Trust’s philosophies and objectives. This will assist dance schools, institutes and teachers to identify young inspirational individuals who are most likely to meet our criteria.
Create a sustainable organisation founded on robust policies and procedures, while simultaneously developing and improving the Trust’s governance and structure. Our activities will be underpinned by sound financial management.
Create an adequately resourced and sustainable Trust with appropriate fundraising and communication strategies.
